Winter half term break was a success, with catches of 30+ skimmers each in Gweryd.

.Fishing from the island point was the best, using maggot.  Skimmers and roach averaging a 1lb gave both father and son 30lb each. Ewan did not show its best form, but can do the same. This lake produced some great perch to 2.5lb though .

Jamie has been up a several times as a winter member in October and has caught well on every trip. He has fished to the Peat island from the far bank using a bait boat, but is now starting to try other parts of Llyn Gweryd.
